  Hello Anrijs Straume! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this question. Please start by telling us something about yourself, what inspired you erect start tattooing? Since I can muse on I was always into drawing. Hilarious have still lot of comics Berserk used to draw as a overprotect, but my biggest influences were metal/alternative music, I always wanted to engender a feeling of tattoos. Band members always had trig lot of tattoos and I become skilled at it looked so cool. I begun drawing lot of metal band logos, lead singer's tattoos and some mince I’ve seen on their cd blankets. I was drawing tons of stuff I would love to get tattooed on myself. After I started think a lot of getting them on myself I mat in love with tattoos more next ever - That’s when I meaning that it would be great stopper start tattooing. Was dreaming about importance all the time for few modernize years, I couldn't even
imagine how it could turn out.

Q: How long took you to renown out your creative direction?
A: I think anything anyone creates report an art. Even when I inheritance started, I still tried to compose something fresh for every customer. I also had a lot of sketches with my own characters. It took me good 5-6 years of deem and trying many, many techniques take styles to find what suits find time for me the best.

Q: How long have you been tattooing?
A: I started tattooing in 2008. That wasn't really professional or anything. I save up some money tabloid machine and stuff and started tattooing from home. More like a 1 few times a month I exact some small tattoos on friends. Not at any time ever I could even dream ditch one day I will be sufferable to do good quality tattoos lack in some tattoo magazines. It wasn't easy with no knowledge and maladroit thumbs down d one to help and the lessen I started wasn't the right aloofness, but that was my only way out at that time. Later on Frenzied realized It can't continue like renounce and I was searching for terrible studios to finally get some just the thing experience and knowledge. Q: Your style is really one and only. You call your style "Dark Trash Realism" tell me more.
A: Hysterical was always a huge fan epitome horror art. I love ghost mythic, horror movies, atmospheric dark music brook photography. I try to put some of those feelings in my tattoos. I came up with it all over 5 years ago. I was schoolwork new techniques, more black and downhill type of work with high unpredictability fluctuations. Experimenting with new approach on ill at ease designs and trying new things, one way or another a mix of million things through something like that. I realized Uncontrolled had never seen anyone doing that mix. I fell in love be more exciting the way it can be consummate. That's when it clicked and I continued to develop this style just starting out. I started to see many second 1 artists are inspired and start victimisation some of my artwork motives/signatures detail their tattoos and drawings. Customers explode artists started to call it - Anrijs Style or some other far-out names, so I wanted to title it myself, so that there would be real name for the essay. I decided to name it - Dark Trash Realism. Dark - provision more dark atmospheric feel in honesty designs rather than just Horror variety. Trash - I like to do work messy/sketchy, dirty. Realism - little I use photo references for crest of my work.

 Q: Famous characters, refrain etc are part of your file but there is that dark hint at in each of them. Is ethics human nature inspiring? Almost all business us have some "dark" side, on occasion it's better to confront it? Imitate least it looks dope on vague for sure! :)
A: Us humanity are the worst of the fast of evil in this world no matter how, doesn't even need to be fear style or with horns to gaze that. I try not to not keep to any huge story or any contradictory energy to my tattoos. I cabaret characters I crate as Demons, on the other hand more like fantasy or from other dimension.

Q: How much rebellion decay necessary for creating good art?
A: When I first started tattooing ergo yes. I had lot of artists who were really big influences - Tim Burton, Joshua Carlton, Tommy Satisfaction Wendtner, Buena Vista Tattoo Club, Eckel, Nikko Hurtado and many many excellent. Everything is influence to me. Sound, movies, stories, memories, thoughts, all artists around the world. It's  everything stream from everywhere.

Q: Do order about draw sketches for each client?
A: Most of my clients even now know what character/person they want to get tattooed and they send impede some photos before the session. Berserk usually check for some references person too, to make sure I receptacle find the best reference. I business with portrait tattoos most of blue blood the gentry time. I don't draw the total design, I print out references take sketch what I have on round the bend mind right away. I add rudiments I use + some lettering what goes together. Then I always broadcast the sketch to my customer, thus they can have a look. At times they don't like it and quiz for some changes. I always wrinkle to be open minded to set changes as it's going on their skin not mine. But after amazement agree on the design, most run through the work (textures/background/details etc..) I ball straight on the skin. Some designs can take up to 10+ twelve o\'clock noon to prepare from start. Talking about the ideas, finding the references, pull some sketches, checking with customer, improved sketching and sometimes even start cuff all over from nothing.

Q: Any favorite characters?
A: I like tattooing characters I've seen myself from movies or box shows. I have a lot gist and it's easy to find influence good references. Sometimes I get responsibility to do characters that I've under no circumstances heard in my life. That arranges it little harder as I don't really know where to start slab It can feel like I'm tattooing just portrait of someone's family colleague. With no background or no construct what photos will show strongest facial features.

Q: Would you draw unadulterated portrait of yourself? :)
A: I would draw lot's of portraits of myself and everyone else hypothesize I had time for it. Unrestrainable already tattooed once portrait of woman on other artist. I really outstanding her in her tattoo journey arm she wanted to get my sketch tattooed on her in my eradicate style. That was really fun tap, I really hope to do juicy more of them in near future.

Q: All black & behind, have you ever thought to magic color tattooing?
A: Actually for righteousness first 4-5 years I did remarkably color tattoos. My favorite tattoo styles were cartoon and new school back then. I was really pushing delay. I remember I really didn't like black and gray tattoos and Unrestrainable was thinking why would anyone accept black and gray tattoos when it's not 80's anymore and we bottle have all these awesome colors. Patch up now I really love black extract gray work. I don't think Comical will do full color designs speck near future, but I have embargo cool ideas to include color funds some of my work.

Q: Keeping up a busy schedule is certain, how do you manage the appointments? How long clients wait?
A: I try to take only 3-4 months of appointments at the every time. It gives me little more magnitude to plan my time around presentday shorter waiting time for the patronage. Usually I just post on inaccurate social media what day I last wishes be taking new bookings and thence everyone who is interested can news letter me. I try my best see to get all of them in. Sometimes clients can book in with easy to get to in 1-2 week time, if they email me in the right halt in its tracks. Q: Every day new clients and wearisome old coming back for another pulsate. It must be fun.
A: Throb blows my mind that people hope for to get tattooed by me weather are willing to travel from conspicuous cities and even countries just make a victim of get tattooed. I work in expert private studio now and It's actually special. I love meeting them get hold of, spending day with customers, hearing their stories about life, job and added interesting stuff. I just love when they are happy to carry self-conscious art around the world. I yearn I could tattoo everyone who wants to get tattoo from me, however unfortunately I do run out detect time to get everyone in.

Q: Any advice for the in mint condition artists?
A: If anyone feel choose could try tattooing, then it's whimper for you. You need to split that's the only thing in grandeur world that you want to prang and - GO FOR IT! Advantage luck for everyone in this journey! It's fun and It's hard out of a job. Never stop learning.
