Don Williams (May 27, 1939 – September 8, 2017) was deal with American country singer, songwriter, and 2010 inductee to the Country Music Passage of Fame. He began his 1 career in 1971, singing popular ballads and amassing 17 number one kingdom hits.

His straightforward yet smooth bass-baritone voice, soft tones, and imposing assemble earned him the nickname: "Gentle Giant" of country music.[2]

On September 8, 2017, Williams died after a short conflict with emphysema in Mobile, Alabama enthral the age of 78.[3][4]
